巡航獲勝,Akio Sobue先聲奪人

由Infinity冠名的CETC第一賽季揭幕戰進入到了決賽階段。在廣州AMA室內賽車場,TQ車手Akio Sobue先下一城,在後車事故不斷的第一輪比賽中輕鬆巡航獲勝。落後Infinity車手三秒衝線,從第五位發車的Viktor Wilck拿下本輪第二;而落後Serpent王牌一段距離的全日本冠軍Souta Goto也從第六位衝上第三。本輪第一圈第一個S彎發生的嚴重事故影響到了預賽排名二、三、四位的選手;Nicolas Lee獲得了相對最好的結果,雖然一度跌落到最後一位,但最終還是以第四名的成績完賽,力壓Xray車手黃揆笙0.13秒;Naoto Matsukura則沒有那麼幸運,雖然奮起直追,但最終僅能收穫第六名,比中國電房全國冠軍慢了0.05秒完賽;最讓人遺憾的是Yokomo新人王Naoki Akiyama,這位車手在第一個S彎的撞擊中車殼被卡住,隨即決定收車以保護輪胎。

The opening round of mains is complete at the 2017 CETC presented by Infinity and it was first blood to Akio Sobue, who took the first modified A-main. In an incident packed race the Japanese driver was able to cruise around and take the victory by 3 seconds over 2nd place finisher Viktor Wilck, who started 5th on the grid. The incident didn’t take long to materialise as a crash involving the 3rd, 4th and 5th placed starters dropped all of them to the back of the pack, Nicolas Lee putting in the best recovery drive to end the race 6th, less than a second behind Gary Huang in 5th. Naoki Akiyama’s bodyshell got tucked in the coming together and he regretfully decided to pull up to save the tires.

受益於最大競爭對手在第一圈就選擇退賽,Akio Sobue以輕鬆的心態完成了首輪賽事。而這一輪的抓地繼續下降,也相對減少了操控上的難度。對於第二輪預賽,加盟Infinity不久的廠車手希望可以再接再厲,提前奪冠。

Benefitting from the retirement of his biggest rival on the first lap infinity driver Sobue took a very relaxed win. With the traction continuing to drop, this made the driving easier as the edginess from his car had been all but taken away. For the 2nd A-main the Japanese driver hopes to do it again and wrap up the overall victory early.

「前面都撞了」,Viktor Wilck感覺自己還算幸運,因為「我的車在這一輪攻擊性不足」。準備在第二輪前調整好自己的設定,Serpent廠車手希望一台更加激進的4X能夠給自己帶來好名次。

‘All drivers in front of me crashed, said Viktor Wilck who felt lucky as his car was ‘not aggressive enough this round. Planning to adjust his set-up ahead of A2, the Serpent factory driver hopes a more aggressive 4X, which features some new part, could bring him a better result.

Souta Goto依然將好成績歸功於前排車手們的事故。「我穩定的慢」,全日本冠軍如此總結自己在第一輪決賽中的表現。與世界賽季軍一樣,Yokomo廠車手也計劃調整設定來讓自己在下一輪更加有競爭力。這位16歲小將考慮增加1度Camber,並將避震行程加長。

Talking about his good result, Souta Goto gave all the credit to the accidents that befell those ahead of him. “I’m stable and slow”, was how the Japanese national champion summed up his first A-main performance. Similar to Wilck, the Yokomo driver plans further changes to his car to make it more competitive, the 16 year old looking to add 1 degree camber and make longer stroke shocks.

「起步那一圈,我的車子有些打滑」,Nicolas Lee認為自己外道起步的位置可能讓輪胎沾上了一點灰塵。他繼續說道,「我拼命往前趕」,但是很可惜,就在新加坡王牌認為自己逐漸進入狀態時「Naoto又撞了我」。帶著被撞癟的車殼,世界賽A組選手略帶遺憾地完成了比賽。對於第二輪決賽,他準備為自己的Yokomo BD8換上一套新胎,他感覺這可能是他的優勢之一。

‘My car was loose on the first lap’, said Nicolas Lee, who thinks starting from the dirtier outside lane might have affected his tires a little. Adding, ‘I tried very hard to catch up’, but when the Singapore ace felt his car was getting better and better ‘Naoto hit me again’. With a deformed body he was still able to finish the race, but with a car that was down on performance he wasn’t able to capitalise on the problems for his main competitors. For A2, he is planning to use his last new set of tires.

Akio Sobue成為首位CETC TQ

在決定性的第四輪也是最後一輪預賽中,Infinity廠車手Akio Sobue成功奪得CETC的首個TQ桂冠。這位世界賽A組選手在發車之後就一路保持領先,沒有給對手任何機會。緊隨其後,Yokomo車手Naoki Akiyama落後1.4秒衝線,拿下本輪第二,也為自己鎖定了預賽第二的排名。新近加盟Sunpadow的Naoto Matsukura表現出了不錯的狀態,僅有一次明顯失誤的Infinity車手拿下本輪第三,預賽積分落後Akiyama 1分,總排名位居第三。Nicolas Lee在最後一輪因為「使用了舊胎」,沒有表現出足夠的競爭力,僅獲第五,但憑借第一和第三輪的預賽成績,拿下總排名第四。Viktor Wilck在最後一輪衝擊TQ未果,在一次翻車後選擇退賽,預賽排名第五。全日本冠軍Souta Goto和全國冠軍黃揆笙分列預賽第六與第七位。香港車手Hay Lai、廣州本地車手李嘉瑋和另一位香港車手Ivan Lo也殺入了A組決賽。

The fourth and final round of qualifying saw Akio Sobue successfully take the first CETC overall TQ honour in the Infinity Modified class, the Worlds Finalist quickly setting off from the grid and never looking back. Right behind him Naoki Akiyama crossed the finish line 1.4 seconds later to take 2nd place for the round and secure 2nd overall on the grid. Newly signed Sunpadow driver Naoto Matsukura showed good pace again with only one mistake, the Japanese driver took 3rd place this round and with 1 point less than Akiyama will start 3rd overall. ‘Using old tires’ Nicolas Lee wasn’t competitive and could only take 5th for the round and 4th overall while Viktor Wilck’s quest for the TQ was over after retiring following a traction roll and so he would claim 5th on the grid for the triple A-mains.

「安全的一輪」,與計劃中一樣,Infinity廠車手依靠穩定的發揮順利拿下TQ。表示「車子很好」的Sobue不準備在決賽前改變設定。而談到決賽的策略,桿位發車的日本高手計劃「在第一分鐘激進一些」,然後「進入安全模式」。

‘A safe run’, as expected Infinity driver Sobue took overall TQ with a consistent drive. Saying ‘the car is good’ Akio doesn’t plan to make any setup changes for the finals while regarding final strategy the pole sitter plans to ‘be aggressive in the first minute’ and after go into ‘safe mode’.

再度拿下第二名的Yokomo廠車手對於車架感到「滿意」。在這一輪使用了新胎的Akiyama接著又補充道,「我還需要更快一些」。排在Sobue之後起步,17歲的年輕車手認為車架已經足夠好,關鍵還是「我需要更好的操控」。

Naoki took 2nd place again, the Yokomo driver felt ‘satisfied’ with the chassis. Using new tires in this round, Akiyama added ‘I need to be faster’. Set to start just behind Sobue on the grid, the 17 year old driver thinks the car is good enough, with the key point being ‘I need better driving’.

雖然本輪僅列第三位,但Infinity車手Naoto Matsukura依舊對結果表示了滿意,「車子沒有任何問題」。談到自己在第四圈時於直路之後的S彎發生的抓翻,日本高手說,「純粹是我操控的問題」。在這一輪將後差速稍稍調硬了一些,Matsukura認為車架更有攻擊性了。在即將到來的決賽中,他準備使用更硬一檔的差速來力拼好成績。「我今天狀態很好」,前世界冠軍如此總結道。

Although taking 3rd place in the this round Infinity driver Naoto Matsukura feels satisfied with the result saying ‘the car has no problem’. Talking about the mistake on the 4th lap at the chicane just after the back straight, the Japanese driver said, ‘its all my driving problem’. Using a little harder rear diff, thinks the car is more aggressive now. For the finals he plans to use an even harder diff to get a better result saying ’I feel good, I can drive good today’.

「輪胎太舊了」,Nicolas解釋說這是他最後一輪預賽不夠快的原因。「決賽我會用新胎」,而在戰術策略方面「我會盡力對前車施壓」,然後「期望前面發生些什麼」。

‘Tires too old’ Nicolas Lee explained this as the reason as to why he was not fast enough in the last qualifier. ‘I will use new tires in the finals’ and regarding his strategy he also said ‘I will push the car in front really hard and hope for something to happen’.

懸念大增,Matsukura成為第三個單輪TQ

由Infinity冠名的CETC在廣州AMA室內賽車場繼續第二天的比賽。前電房世界冠軍Naoto Matsukura在第三輪預賽中表現驚艷,成為CETC首站的第三個單輪TQ,而這個結果也進一步擴大了Infinity Modified組別的TQ歸屬懸念。在接下去的第四輪也是最後一輪決賽中,超過5名車手都有機會奪得CETC歷史上的首個TQ桂冠。具有顯著圈速優勢的Akio Sobue重復了昨天最後一輪預賽的模式,再度翻車落後但又一次追回到第三名完賽。新加坡華人車手Nicolas Lee擠入Infinity雙雄之間,以穩健的表現收穫本輪第二。有兩次明顯失誤的Viktor Wlick與全國冠軍黃揆笙分別以第四和第五名的成績完賽。昨天最後一輪的TQ Akiyama,本輪缺乏足夠的競爭力,僅以第六名的排位收車。

The CETC presented by Infinity continued its 2nd day action at the AMA track in Guangzhou, with former world champion Naoto Matsukura putting in a great performance in Q3 to becomes the 3rd different single round TQ of the opening race of the CETC. A result which leaves the overall TQ wide open for the fourth and final round of qualifying 5 drivers are still in contention to be top qualifier. With an obvious lap time advantage Akio Sobue flipped his car but was able to recover to take 3rd for the round. Singaporean driver Nicolas Lee split the Infinity drivers, taking 2nd place with a very solid run. With two very obvious mistakes Viktor Wilck and National Champion Gary Huang finished the round in 4th and 5th place respectively. TQ of Q2 Akiyma had a lack of pace in this round and ended up in 6th place.

Infinity車手Naoto Matsukura一改昨天失誤不斷的狀態,以極為穩健的操控拿下第三輪預賽,而他也是唯一一位衝進27圈的車手。談到這個顯著的變化,昨天賽後剛剛簽約加盟Sunpadow的車手指著全新的電池說,「新電池給了我很好的感覺」。相對更重一些的電池改善了Matsukura的車架平衡,讓他可以更加舒服地過右彎。在賽前換上了更軟的後差速,同時將他的好盈電變柔化值從5增加到7,這些改變也都讓Infinity車手獲得了更加柔順的操控感。

Infinity driver Naoto Matsukura totally changed his performance compared to yesterday and took Q3 with consistency and was the only driver who made 27 laps for the round. Commenting on this very obvious change, newly signed Sunpadow driver, who joined the Chinese brand’s factory team last night, pointed as his brand new battery and said ‘new battery give me a very good feeling’. A relatively heavier battery made his car more balanced and so it was more comfortable turning through right hand corners. Changing to a softer rear diff and also adjusting his Hobbywing ESC to be less aggressive all this effort gave the infinity driver a smoother car.

「還是不夠轉」,Nicolas Lee如是說。雖然獲得了開賽以來的最好成績,但Yokomo車手感覺自己的車架依然有提升的空間。準備在下一輪換上「更軟的後差速」,新加坡人還提到了場地抓地力在今天早上明顯下降,這對不少賽員都產生了影響。

‘Not enough steering’ said Nicholas Lee, despite getting his best result the Yokomo driver still felt his car could be better. Thinking of using a softer rear diff for the final round of qualifying, the Singaporean driver mentioned that the much lower traction in the morning affected many drivers.

再度陷入瘋狂追趕窘境的Akio Sobue依然對自己的車架表示滿意。在比賽進行到第8圈時與Akiyama發生碰撞後翻車讓Infinity車手損失了6秒鐘,其排名從第一位直接跌落至第八。但狀態極佳的車架讓他持續做出穩定而快速的單圈,一路追趕到第三位衝線,「今天的場地情況不容抓翻,車子很好開」。談到極為關鍵的最後一輪決賽,日本王牌表現出了足夠的自信,「我準備開得更穩一些,這樣應該就可以了」。

Falling into the awkward position of having to charge through the field again, Akio was still satisfied with his chassis. A coming together with Naoki Akiyama, the Infinity driver flipped over and lost 6 seconds, falling out of the lead down to 8th in the heat but a very competitive car helped him put in fast and consistent lap times he was finally able to recover to 3rd position. ‘Today’s track is not easy to have traction roll, so the car is easier to drive’, talking about the very important last round of qualifying the Japanese ace is confident and said ‘I just need a safe run’.

「車子有一點滑」,Serpent廠車手認為今天抓地力的下降與其設定的改變產生了衝突。「我的束角改變」相對今天的抓地力來說「可能有點過頭了」。計劃在下一輪將設定變回昨天的狀態,Wilck準備對TQ桂冠發起最後的衝擊。

‘The car is a little loose’, Serpent team driver Viktor Wilck feels today’s lower traction conflicted with his setup change saying ‘I changed my rear toe-in but compared to the traction today it may be too little now’. Planning to revert to yesterday’s setting, the Swede is prepared to go all out for the TQ in Q4.

全國冠軍黃揆笙認為「用金屬底盤的人,這一輪都有些吃虧」。但針對最後一輪預賽,這位Xray車手不準備做任何設定改動,「還是等待抓地力上升吧」。

National Champion Gary Huang said ‘the drivers using aluminium chassis this round are less competitive’. Talking about final qualifier, the Xray driver doesn’t want to make any setup changes to the car instead preferring to wait for the traction to come up.

在Sunpadow Stock組別中,Ali Lee再下一城,提前鎖定TQ。Awesomatix車手丁房傑則異軍突起,收穫第二名。在使用ORCA CETC特別版限定馬達及5.0限定齒比的規則之下,前五名車手依舊極為接近,第一與第五名選手的完賽成績差距不到5秒。在Serpent F1組別中,「棍王」馮偉賢依舊處於絕對領先的狀態,連續三輪預賽包攬第一,提前一輪獲得TQ。

In the Sunpadow Stock class Ali Lee too Q3 to wrap up overall TQ for the class while Awesomatix driver Ding saw a big improvement today to take 2nd place for the round. By using the ORCA CETC control motor and fixed ratio of 5.0, the top 5 drivers are split by a mere 5 seconds. In the Serpent Formula class Stick King continued his dominance of the class to also secure overall TQ.

說明 – 世界賽A組選手Nicolas Lee攜世界冠軍車架Yokomo BD8出戰CETC。其車架由BD8設計師Yukijiro Umino親自準備,安裝了搭配PCS系統推出的新款加長馬達座以及全新的大齒固定座。這兩款新配件都將於下月上市,而車架上的其他配件皆為原廠標配。Nicolas對於目前的車架狀況感到基本滿意,「但最好還能多一些轉向」,新加坡王牌補充道。車架前部的寬臂碼及短擺臂組合讓Nicolas感到有進一步調整的必要。
